okay so we didn't tour blog like we said we would but we were pretty busy driving and driving and driving. so it goes on the west coast.

portland: when we got there we found that the opening act couldn't make it over the pass from california. which was a bit scary since that was the pass we had to cross first thing in the morning. at any rate, we call our friend james and he came down and opened up the show. it was great. we played a jittery set since we hadn't been on stage in months. joe preston played some fabulous cuts from his turntable.

los angeles round one: we played underneath 3 inches of blood at the key club on sunset. there were celebrities and other la bullshit. we stayed with our friend tom and played lots of rockband on a projection screen.

san francisco: awesome show. it was packed and grayceon sounded great. we took off after the show to drive all night back to la.

los angeles round two: we played an early show at a thai restaurant. all the bands were great and those in attendance made us play for well over an hour. we were drained but excited that so many great folks came out. we got right back in the van and drove home. it took 5 hours to cross that damn pass and the personification of brak helped us put our chains on.

it was a great trip. thanks to martin, tom, grayceon, ancestors, and everyone who made it possible.

First off I could'tn think of a better group of Guys to tour with, Conifer and Lesbian fit like a very sleazy glove perfectly, our music comes out of our pores and we managed to kick ass no matter how little sleep or much alcohol was involved. We laughed we cried and we brought our weapons of mass perception to the east coast, we had well attended shows and we had poorly attended shows, thanks to all who came out your awesomeness is surely appreciated. Thanks to everyone who bought something it completely helps and made it possible for us to bring it Full-Shred! We all became better players because of this experience , how could we not seeing Conifer for 7 days straight bringing the Heavy, Can't wait for "Crown Fire" to be released it will devastate the Masses! Extra special thanks to Souveniers Young America, We showed up in Richmond at 5 in the morning after playing Baltimore that night got 3 hours sleep and then Proceeded to record all day. The result which will be mixed down from 2 hours of recorded material will be called " MachuPichu Mother Future" It contains no overdubs and has all 11 members playing of Lesbian, Conifer and Souveniers Young America. You guys showed unrelenting Hospitality, Richmond Rules! after recording all day we played a show at Nara Sushi which completely destroyed, One of the best! Good seeing you Andy rock on Bro! The Baltimore show the night before Fucking Ruled everybody was exceptional VBS and Isthmus Tore it up and the nicest promoter ever bought us all burritos! We saw a Zombie hooker and much worse, Baltimore is kinda fucked up, but It was the best energy show we had all around thanks to everyone at The Talking Head creepiest green room ever! Philly was great although no one really showed up at The Khyber. The staff were great and the beer was even better special thanks to the Bartender for the mandarin bombs, And an extra special fuck you to Joey Vento of Geno's Steaks, they have a sign saying their proud to be American and Joey Vento states that when Ordering Please speak English or you won't get served....Racist fucks you should have a Hitler Cheesesteak! Plus their Steaks sucked! Boycott those Mother fuckers! The only movie we got to watch was Out For Justice w/ Stephen Segal Totally awesome. The Luna Lounge in Brooklyn was totally rad we met a lot of great people extra thanks to the bartenders ,soundguy, and JustEric for setting up the show and hooking us up with the dinero! We drove all day from Richmond Va. to New York for our final show at The Tap Bar in the Knitting Factory on Friday..Load in was at 5:30 we were at the Holland tunnel at about 5 only 3 miles from the tap bar, we were'nt allowed through because of our trailer( Terrorism) so we were redirected to Lincoln Tunnel making our distance to the Tap Bar about 10 miles it took us over 3 hours to get there in terrible traffiic and rain, we barely made it to load in and Conifer had to Play as soon as we got our shit down a flight of stairs. It Sucked as our last show and nobody was there, New York City on a friday at the Knitting Factory, To make it worse the amp Leif and I were using shit the bed! Anyways sorry to be so long winded. We had the most fun ever, can't wait to do this again! Congratulations to Our Drummer Ben and Nicole as of tommorrow they are married, Have the Best time In Egypt and say Hi to Osirus and Horus for me! One more thing check out Roadburn.com for the studio report for Power Hor It will be released on Gatefold Vinyl in Feb. on RoadBurn Records. This weekend's trip to Tacoma's Uptone Studios was a huge success. Our good friend Brenden Riley stopped by to add his vocal hijinks to the Fungal Abyss. We recorded a 47 minute track about sadness and mushrooms. We hope to have a few copies on hand this Sunday when we play Chop Suey in Seattle with Burial Chamber Trio and Earth. Excitement is brewing for plans that have been made to enter the studio with the Abodox's Nathan Smurthwaite to lay down pre-production tracks for our next record, to be titled "Stratospheria Cubensis". It's going to be Cosmic!! Track listing is currently as follows: Poisonous Witchball, Poverty and War Forever, Stropharia Cubensis, and Black Stygian, with one more in the works. You can catch us playing the first three around town presently if you haven't already, and we'll be debuting our newest psych journey, and album closer, about the Black Lotus very soon!! Hey everybody, first off, I just want to say thanks to anyone who picked up our record this week, hope you're enjoying the sounds and destroying your hi-fi's. If you feel like adding to that pleasure and got the time, try a listen with a nice set of headphones, Power Hor is ripe with ear candy, no thanks to Mr. Randall Dunn, the man!!

Secondly, I wanted to take a minute to tell ya'll about the second half of Power Tor's exploits and adventures. I've been wicked sick with some kind of strep throat since we got back, major bummer, but I'm starting feel the groove again, and hopefully Dan and Arran can give you their take on it soon as well. So SxSw was totally fuckin' awesome!! Austin was out of control with tons of bands and people everywhere, drunk people...standing outside the club we played, Spiro's, after load-in, we must have seen at least 10 people trip over the curb out front, very entertaining! The Holy Mountain showcase was great, cheers to all the bands we shared the stage with that night! We unleashed Loadbath at 11pm to a very receptive and enthusiastic crowd, I remember some people screaming in my face while we were trying to play some of the chill segues in the middle, kinda cool, but kinda distracting too!! Whatever, I'm glad they liked it, then we played Poisonous Witchball for our finale, everyone went nuts!! Apparentely we had time for one more, but who knew! Lots of good people came out and had good things to say, to them we salute! Afterwards, Boris played a killer set outside that had everyones fists in the air, very good times consuming beer rapidly! The next day we played in the afternoon the ovrcast stage outdoors, lots of cool bands, but that's mostly who was there, still it was nice to feel the wind through the hair whilst bangin' away...damn we got some sun in Texas, very nice for a change! Shane set us up with Ira from Anoydyne who proved to be fantastic host number 5 of tour, much thanks to him for his hospitality! Power Tor decided to power out of Austin at 11.30pm on a Saturday night to make the drive to San Diego, everything was going fine until about 5.30am when what seemed to be our transmission at the time, totally konked out. Shit!! As soon as we go 35 lil' kimchi started pissin and moanin' what the fuck!! So we make our way slooowly to El Paso, and get there around sun-up, make the calls, only to find out no shops are open on a Sunday, probably because everyone is Catholic, great, now what? Evaluation of the situation tells me that if we sit here and wait for Monday, we'll never make that show in San Diego, well, we can go 35mph, if we can find a safe backway to Tuscan, we can get there by 10pm and have a fighting chance of making the show, so we did...and we drove...35mph...for 12 fucking hours...through the new mexico and arizona deserts...we got stopped by the border police, not once, but twice, wondering why we were going so slow, but they let us go, no thanks to our reasonable excuse of a busted transmission, and we were left wondering how on earth we didn't get searched, and very glad we didn't!! We stopped in a place that was straight outta texas chainsaw massacre, we thought we were doomed for sure, if only you could see this place you'd agree that your life was in danger as well...I had my knife, so I wasn't too scared, but I'd say overall the scariest thing about that place was the sandwich ben bought, smelled wierd! inside the store none of the coolers worked, but there was a bucked of iced beverages, hallelujah! When we got closer to Tuscan and our phones came back on, I was able to get some technical support from my uncle duke, who guided me to the conclusion that our transmission was not in fact fucked, but perhaps the overdrive, which you must turn off everytime you start the van...and presto!! We can go 60mph?!! Wtf?!! Oh well, we did get to see some beautiful country, and what a long-ass day, but that rules, so lets go to San Diego!! When it came time for the show there, some kind of cosmic force came over us I think due to the overwhelming odds we triumphed against, and we proceeded to kick more ass than on the entire tour thus far! Shane got it all on video thankfully, but holy shit we were nailing it, the birth of a new band it was! We laid that room to waste, and had a blast doing it, I don't think there was hardly a moment that heads weren't rocking. Travis and Troy from Cattle Decapitation were great hosts and we had a blast partying down with them...I still have to try an adventure in beer bonging that Troy gave me blueprints for called the "ultimate warrior" you can imagine its gonna be pretty good...kimchi struggled along and we made it to LA for the second time to play a place called the Mountain Bar, loading gear up stairs is no fun, but it was worth it, great show that night as well and a great crowd. The new Earth documentary was featured, and Jenny and Anna from TV Eye were doing a special DJ set that was totally rad!! Laurel from Cold Sweat records put us up that night and we had a blast drinking wine and partying at her killer spread 'til the we hours of the morning. We got a good breakfast and headed to SF for our last show before returning home, everyone was pretty banged up from two weeks on the road but we powered through and crushed regardless...Power Tor powered home and we had a great kegger party on Saturday, thanks to everyone who came to help us drink that beer!! We had a blast!! That's my piece for now, its tough to be brief when there's so much to talk about! I could go on, but I'll let my bros take care of some of the finer details I may be forgetting. Thanks again to anyone who came out to show us some love, and everyone who helped us out along the way!!

Sorry we haven't had time to blog. We have been all tied up getting excited for our album to come out. Well the time has come. Go to the store. Its there TODAY!. YAY!

The Road To Texas/PizzaPussySanta

Only a few days into Power Tor 2007 and already our courageous protagonists Lesbian have spread their legacy to five states drinking, cussing, and making love to each one as they pass through. And here in Texas, they shall reside for the next few days to up the ante as only these New Wavers of Psychedelic Metal can. Here, in the band's own words, is a mere whisper of the trail they've slashed and burned over the past few days. Thanks are given, jokes are cracked, and optimism for the rest of the journey rides high on their shoulders, as well it should- These gentlemen of the brutal, beautiful Lesbian see only devastation in their future.

Muscle-milk and naked juice, skull ring or finger bang ?, two parts under-pants and two parts carharrts, exit 4/20 to Baker, dream closetsthese are the things we've been pondering on the road.or maybe we're delusional because we've been having too much fucking fun. Personally, every other tour I've been on was not considered a vacation.but this one most definitely is. Santa Cruz was a bl'ast! L.A. @ Matt's rocked the house! Cheap beer in Tucson. Pool party in San Antonio. c'mon now?! It's been great seeing old friends and also meeting new ones.looking forward to the next tour, and this one is only half-way through. Rock on!!

Night driving through fog laden battlefields of bloody deer corpses and other various types of roadkill..Texas is a long fuckin state but we are here and we're here for one thing and that thing is to annihilate and destroy all who stand before us.i mean in the most awesome sonic way possible. Even the ass-hole of society that is Los Angeles was redeemed by some of the coolest cats around. Big ups to Anna, Jenny, Martin, Matt and the lot. We'll see you at the Mountain Bar. Ohhhhh shitPower Tor 2007!! Bear with me, this may be a bit jumbled as I've been drinking, but I'll try to get it it "out there", even I don't even know where to startthe send-off in seattle was great, thanks to all our friends for coming out to send us off champagne style tosanta cruz? Yea-uh!! Drive all night, caffeine, metal hits from death and cathedral, arrive early afternoon, rockers pizzagorgeous weather, the beach front was dead but we burned anyways only to narrowly escape fuzzstaying in corralitos at the mammatus house was the shitrick's cousin hooked us up with the finest stygiankillerdrive to la, no problemthe bbq in was good fun, the sunset strip was not, but ya gotta learn the hard way sometimesarran and I enjoyed some Frisbee on the the gorgeous Venice beach at sunset, went to see ludicra at the knitting factory, lots of ipa and pacificoJenny and Anna from tveye, two fantastic ladies who put us up our second night there, we owe much gratitude for hospitality too...I did good until the earth documentary came on, the drone kinda tipped the scales in favor of oblivion, but lots of driving and not so much food will do that to you sometimes!!! On to tuscan, shane's friends scott and dick trout put us up, and we showed them how we do it!!! Fucking All beers $1?!!! Quite the drastic change from LAradnessnow our epic journey has landed us in San AntonioTexas, don't mess with itborder safety check points and lots of desert, driving all night, unfortunately we missed baker road, exit 420, but perhaps on the way back, we will find ourselves therecurrently, we find ourselves with my good buddy brendan at his parents kick ass mansion poolside with cigars and beer playing pokerI don't even feel like I'm doing this justice right now, perhaps later, but all I know is I've had a kick ass time so far, and the best is yet to come!!!
